I heart has been so heavy here recently, more than usual. I watch the news and
there is so much sadness and hurt, then you hear of horrible divorces, parents abusing their
babies, people and animals being neglected, people who only think of themselves
and leave the family who struggled raising them to die alone in a home.
I was so incredibly blessed to have a saint for a grandmother, she was always forgiving and loving
and she never passed judgement... honestly, she was one of my best friends
and I never heard her say horrible things about anyone. When you read the Bible
and it tells you about the person you are suppose to be, it completely defines her!! The strongest
most loving woman I have ever known of... the person I would love to be.
Have you ever wondered why people, including me at times, are so judgmental and so easy
to put other people down?? Society is so full of negative, and we are suppose
to encourage and lift up our friends and even our enemies. Everyone falls into the negative
social atmosphere so easy... I want to be the one who stands up and makes a difference!
Assignment: To lift up and encourage someone each day this week. Even if it
is just to say a kind word to someone you don't know, or someone who looks like they
could use an encouraging word.
